How to fix “ The volume does not contain recognized file system” ( without additional software )

One of my additional hard disk showing this error which I have lot of data on it. When I plug in it shows E:\ is not accessible, We need to format in order to use. But I need my data back. show that I search on internet and got some solution for its.

This error message may occur on an internal or external drive. The causes for this error are given as follows:

• Corrupt or faulty drive
• File system corruption
• Corrupt system files

Method 1: Run SFC (System File Checker) Command

Open command prompt with administrator and type sfc/scannow

Method 2: Scan Drive for Errors

Open command prompt with administrator and type chkdsk /f /r E: ( Instead of E give your hard disk letter )

For me method 2 is worked :)
